The quality of life improvements are mainly to lessen the grind from materials, so fishing and post-game boss grinding is not as required as in the base game. Some fights are suprisingly tame, while others require strategic preparations for the player to stand a chance. There are exceptions to this rule, like the bosses that hit the cap of the HP possible in the game and as such, have increased defence or a few fights that will one-hit KO the player.
The difficulty has been generally increased by tripling the HP and damage dealt from enemies. Fleeing from some enemy encounters and saving before bosses with an Anywhere Diary is recommended. This hack will require the player to play more optimally in many situations. This is a difficulty increasing hack and in some ways, a quality-of-life improvement hack.
